Sorrel Madley is an interdisciplinary designer specialising in ceramics. A 2020 graduate of Design Academy Eindhoven who worked under Misha Kahn (New York), she now manages and teaches in London exploring ceramics throughout history. 

In her practice, she is drawn to the enduring presence of ceramics, a material that connects us to the past through objects that have survived for thousands of years, while also pushing us to imagine the futures our own creations may exist within.

Her work exists at the intersection of art and design, shaped by her training in design but deeply informed by historical craft traditions. She is constantly excited by ceramics as a material as you can transform it into almost any object, functional or decorative.
